ABOUT US
The Cornwall Garden Society is a charity with the following objectives:-
a. the encouragement and improvement of the science, art and practice of horticulture in all its branches
b. the promotion of knowledge and education in good gardening principles and in the national heritage of gardens in Cornwall
c. to promote, conserve and protect the national environment in Cornwall |
In order to meet the objectives the society holds regular lectures and visits to gardens and shows within the county and beyond.
The Cornwall Garden Society stages the major Spring Show in the County each year. This year it is to be held at Boconnoc.
A News letter is circulated to members in January,March,May,July,September and November |
The Society is affiliated to the Royal Horticultural Society.

The benefits of membership are:-
Privileged admission to the CGS Spring Show
FREE admission to lectures held monthly between October and April, at various locations county-wide, featuring national speakers as well as informative local gardeners.
The chance to exchange garden tips, ideas, knowledge and, of course plants with other members ( and to see round their gardens and make new friends)
Regular visits to interesting and outstanding gardens, with special 'walks and talks'.
Garden theme holiday
A newsletter, programme and information mailed to you.
FREE when you join, a copy of the Cornwall Garden Society's Journal, The Cornish Garden.
